Why I'm writing here...
Most of what you'll read on this blog comes from running my own agency and building CRM software at the same time.
I'm not writing theory. I'm writing about what actually happened when I deleted 71% of my CRM data and my reports stopped lying to me. When I tracked referrals for six months and found out my loudest supporters had sent me exactly zero paying clients. When I ran the 5-year cost math on SaaS vs self-hosted and the numbers made me physically uncomfortable.
The CRM industry has a marketing problem. They sell you on volume. More contacts, more automations, more integrations, more seats. That's how the per-contact pricing model works. More is how they make money.
I'm building something different. A CRM you buy once and own forever. Full source code. No monthly rent. If you break it, you fix it. If you want to resell it under your own brand, go for it.
If that sounds interesting, the product is at https://seedlycrm.com
If you just want the stories, stick around. One or two posts a week, usually short, usually about something that happened that week. No drip sequences. No upsells. Just notes from someone building in public.
